Framing Clubhouse II

by admin

Here you can see a crane being used to put up the framing for the roof of the clubhouse. Construction on the clubhouse is progressing quickly as you can see from the time-lapse photos!

Laying Sod II

by admin

We received a new shipment of sod. Here you can see us laying the sod with a skidloader on some of the waterfront lots.

Framing the Clubhouse

by admin

The framing for the clubhouse is just about complete. Inside the clubhouse will be the check-in area, general store, an owner's lounge, an exercise room, bathrooms, and a large open space that will lead to the pool area. In the last picture in this series, you can see the three large doors that can be rolled up like a garage door. One door will lead to the pool deck and the other two will lead to another deck down by the pond where we will have a large firepit.

Putting Down Sod

by admin

We have put down some sod on one of the lots as a sort of test-drive. My dachshund Gabby couldn't be happier about the new grass. Our plan is to hydro-seed the remaining lots in this row and then put sod down for the waterfront lots.

This is what the lots look like after hydro-seeding. They don't look like much yet but we were blessed with a good mix of rain and sun in the days after ... within the next two weeks we'll see grass shooting up.

Pouring Pads II

by admin

We have poured larger pads for the waterfront lots - the smallest pads are 18 feet wide and 40 feet long, the larger pads are 20 ft. wide and 60 feet long. This section will be for Class A motorhomes only - the utilities are set up on the left to make it easy to pull in nose-first and take advantage of the waterfront view out the windshield of your motorhome. You can see my 40' Alfa has plenty of room to spare on the larger concrete pad!
